Lockwood Studios was established in 2016 on the 8000 block of Lockwood Ave in Skokie IL.  It emerged from humble beginnings with a laptop, a walk in closet for a recording booth, and a mic.  With money saved from sessions, new equipment  was purchased and it wasn't long before it became well known on Chicagoland's North Side, or "Topside."  In January 2019, Lockwood Studios found a new home in Chicago's Mayfair neighborhood.  Some of the most talented Chicago artists, DJs, and producers booked sessions where songs were recorded and mixed for the radio (Chicago's Power 92.3FM, 107.5 WGCI, and New York's Hot 97), mixtapes/albums, and performances such as SXSW and Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash.  As the studio grew and more connections in the industry were made, there was opportunity on the west coast.  In April 2023, the studio relocated to the Palms neighborhood in Culver City, Los Angeles California.  Conveniently located between LAX, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica/Venice Beach, and Hollywood, Lockwood Studios is a place where artists turn their vision into reality.
